IMAGO-A

IMAGO-A (pronounced ee-mah-go ah) is a collection built upon sculptural shapes: timeless, sophisticated, day-to-night handbags and accessories designed to add character and multi-functionality to the modern wardrobe. 

IMAGO-A is helmed by New York–based designer Yegang Yoo. Her career began at Hussein Chalayan’s visionary studio in London, followed by influential roles at Rachel Comey, Vena Cava, and Ports 1961. Each IMAGO-A piece begins with Yoo sculpting the form by hand—an intuitive, shape-first approach—before it’s brought to life by master artisans with decades of expertise in handbag craftsmanship. Her design process is a thoughtful interplay between function and experimentation, guided by a distinct creative vision rooted in the forms of art, design, and the natural world.
