A design studio based in Buenos Aires founded by designers Dolores Mouriño and Lucila De Paula. They met in 2003 at Design University in Buenos Aires and we have been working together since 2009.
Le Bas values the elemental beauty of materials, local heritage and the harmony in craft. Believing in the importance of a slow thoughtful process in the creation of each object, endorsed by the power of simplicity and function.
All their bags are handcrafted in small runs in Argentina. Le Bas creates their cotton canvas & leather goods selecting gently tumbled and smooth fine grain leather, genuine vegetable tanned leather and water resistant cotton canvas. All the hardware is crafted in brass by local artisans.
Le Bas pursues classic simplicity and essential functionality building high quality products that will last the test of time and adapt to the changing needs of our customers.
